Freya Prowe, Artist.
Freya Prowe was raised by a bicultural family in the United States. German fairy tales informed much of her early imaginary world. Lyrical and dark, Prowe’s artwork draws on that tradition and its sensitivity to the emotional tensions lurking in human interactions. In addition to painting and drawing, Prowe has studied textile design in Java, Indonesia and Zurich, Switzerland.
